July 1943 view of the west end of Eugene Yard before the hump and classification yard was constructed. to the extreme right of the photo, and viewing from right to left, is the 30 yard, the 40 yard, note the figure walking toward the photographer, the 50 yard, and barely visible are the switch stands for the 60 Yard.

In this view of Eugene Yard we see the 30 yard in the right of the photo with a partial view of a yard goat coupled to a cut of cars.
