This is the only image I have seen of the incline donkey. This particular steam donkey was referred to as a lowering donkey. It was built by Willamette Iron & Steel Works of Portland, OR, had water cooled brakes and locomotive air brake controls for the braking system. The main wheel was 9 feet in diameter
